Phase 2, last week!

Hi all;

Last look at your conflict before next week's essay/croquis,
and also last chance to identify two sources that you will use in Phase 3!

Good luck!

Phase 2, week 5

Hi all

We are going to extend this phase, because it seems that you guys are getting good at this research thing and I want to keep it going for a bit.

New thing for this week: if and when you find several articles that come from, say, Reuters, there can still be differences worth mentioning: is the entire article just cut-and-pasted, or are there any things added or taken out? How is the presentation? Are there big headlines, scary pictures? Is it on page 2 or on page 25?

Phase 2, Week 4

Hi all

For this week, in addition to the great work you're already doing, add one more thing:

If you're covering a follow-up to something you saw the previous week, write "follow-up" at the beginning of the paragraph.

Even though you can't insert maps, you can copy-paste URLs for maps if you have them.

Phase 2, week 3

Hi all

From now on, you need to keep track of your sources.
You only need the name: "NY Times," "Guardian," etc.

You should look at two or more sources, and you should split the paragraph for each source. It doesn't matter if the paragraphs are only two or three lines.

In your research each week, you should always start by looking for a follow-up to what you wrote about last week.
